November Stick it down challange

Hi There,

I decided to play along again withe the stick it down challenge this month as I was inspired to make an end of the year summary with the single page sketch. I will couple this page with one or two pages to sum up our 2016.

November single page sketch

Instead of having the top and bottom panels I opted to frame the white paper, I cut out the 2016 using my new silhouette and was harder than i thought as I just couldn’t get it to cut through all the pages. I cut 11 little photos in 4.2cm squares so they would all fit and did some stamping and gold mist in the background.

I brought some fringing scissors at the weekend and was dying to try them out so I grabbed some pink, blue and yellow scraps and chucked them behind the die cut shape. I wanted to leave it pretty simple as there was a lot going on in this layout already so added a few enamel dots and left it at that. I’ve left one space for December which obviously hasn’t happened yet!

Thanks for reading

  1. It is really adorable your page so full of details and beautiful colors, love the fringing at 2016, it’s gorgeous. Thank you for participating with us at Stick it Down.

  2. I really like the gallery of photos you’ve entered in the LO but specially the title.
Have you interpreted the sketch in a very original way by adding all of the colored papers to the title and I like the hand-drawn around the letters. Nice job!
Thank you for participating to our challenge.
